Moxibustion

The herb moxa (artemisia vulgaris) is burned in the form of a stick or cone to provide mild local heat to various acupuncture points. It is usually used in combination with acupuncture and is effective in treating a number of conditions, notably in breech pregnancies where it can help to move the baby into the correct position for normal delivery.
