Booking an Appointment

 

Please note that we are not a drop-in service and require advance notice for all appointments.


As we are classed as a Close Contact Services we prioritise the health & safety of our clients & staff. Please take the time to read through the important information below regarding the measures we have taken to help prevent the spread of infection and how you can help us maintain these standards. Appointments are generally booked 1-3 weeks in advance. The best way to arrange an appointment is to give us a ring on 0131 554 7888 or 0131 554 0808, phone lines are open from Tuesday - Sunday, 9.30am - 4.30pm.

Due to high demand we are now asking for a deposit to confirm your appointment which you can do over the phone. Deposit fee may vary dependant on Practitioner.

Travel & Parking

  • Please be aware that there can be congestion on Bernard Street and the surrounding areas which may hugely affect your travel time. We would suggest adding 15/20 minutes onto your normal travel time.  

  • Parking zones are now in effect - ticket machines are cashless - payment can be made via an app RingGo (Text, mobile, web/app payment). There is limited free street parking of up to 4 hours (no return within 2 hours) in some parking bays on Constitution Street - please be aware that some of these bays are Loading bays and will result in a fine if you park in the wrong bay.

  • There is free parking for two vehicles only side-by-side, directly in front of the bay window of our building on the granite paving. Do not park on the slabbed area of pavement as it is a public footpath and will result in a £50 fine from Edinburgh Council. When parking in our parking spots please respect pedestrians by pulling up carefully and as close to the bay window as possible to leave room for them on your right. Please note that we cannot guarantee that there will be spaces available as we are reserving these spaces primarily for those with mobility issues. Click here for more parking instructions. 

  • DISCLAIMER: We will not accept liability or responsibility for claims, damages, penalties, theft, losses, expenses, accidents, costs or liabilities for any vehicles or its contents on the slabbed area of the public pavement. Vehicle owners using the slabbed area of pavement do so at their own risk.

Before arriving

  • Face-masks although not required to be worn would be very much appreciated by Ming, Ran, our staff and our clinically vulnerable clients so if you feel able to wear one then we would be grateful for your consideration.

  • To help us reduce numbers within the clinic please come to your appointment alone or let us know in advance if you are bringing someone for assistance.

  • Please bring a keep-cup or canister if you can for water however there will still be single-use cups available for the water dispenser.

On arrival

  1. Our waiting room is closed. Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before, and you will be taken directly to your treatment room.

  2. Please use the hand-san provided before entering the premises.

  3. Slippers or shoe-covers are provided for you on entering the building as we are implementing a no-shoes policy (within reason). The slippers will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised beforehand.

  4. Covid screening questions such as those below will be on a form to fill out when you arrive:

  • have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?

  • do you have a high temperature?

  • have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?

  • have you been outwith the UK in the past 14 days?

  • to the best of your knowledge, are you in contact with anyone who may be showing coronavirus symptoms?

Payment

  • We now require a £30.00 deposit for new clients or returning clients over 6 months, the deposit is then deducted from the treatment fee on the day of appointment. This deposit is transferable/refundable if the appointment is re-arranged or cancelled within our cancellation policy guidelines, please see below.

  • Contactless transactions via Apple Pay and Android/Google Pay is available and preferable. Click here to learn how to set up your phone for contactless payment. Chip & pin will still be accepted and the terminal will be cleaned after each use.

Cancellation Policy

Please allow 48 hours notice for an appointment to be cancelled / rearranged or a fee of £30 will be charged. If notice is given under 24 hours you will regrettably be charged up to full price.
We have a list of clients waiting for an appointment - your appointment time will be offered to them. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • There will be no charge for anyone needing to cancel their appointment if they have coronavirus symptoms.
