Arlene RobertsonArlene works from our Glasgow clinic and is a well-established Holistic Therapist with over four years experience gained through training and experience within clinical, corporate and public aspects of a varied range of the following treatments;

Aromatherapy Massage

A relaxing massage with the use of essential oils.  Specific oils are tailored to the individual to suit their own personal needs.  A highly relaxing and gentle treatment with slow movements for a relaxing 'me time' experience.

Swedish Massage

This treatment incorporates a variety of techniques, with the application of oil.  Faster movements and more pressure are used than with aromatherapy - useful for individuals with particular problematic areas such as tight muscles due to work, exercise or the stresses of everyday life.  This treatment relaxes muscles, increases circulation, removes metabolic waste products and stretches the ligaments and tendons.

Seated Massage/Indian Head Massage

This type of massage, without the use of oils, allows the client to remain fully clothed.  You rest in a comfortable sitting position on a specially designed chair whilst your neck, arms, hands, back and any desired areas are worked on.  Several different massage techniques are used including shiatsu, neuromuscular, Swedish and deep tissue, as well as energy balancing.  It is a great pick-me-up to relieve muscle soreness and revitalises the energy centres in the body.

Based on an ancient Chinese therapy, reflexology massage uses manipulation of specific areas in the foot.  This treatment uses varying levels of pressure to various points to help stimulate your body's organs, open up energy flows and relieve areas of the Chi that may be blocked.  Reflexology works with the body's natural energy system to stimulate the immune system and initiate self-healing.  Reflexology also helps to reduce pain, increase relaxation, reduce stress, and stimulate circulation of blood and lymphatic fluids.

Neck, back and shoulders

A massage for those who feel these areas are their most problematic due to daily activities such as sitting at a desk for long periods of time, long-distance driving, heavy lifting and more.  This massage can help to correct bad posture which places unnatural stresses on the neck and back, relieving pain and tension.  Pressure tailored to suit individual needs.

Cost: All treatments £40 per hour.
